[VFL] Recap of Today’s Meeting; Respect Life Day at JHU
Recap of VFL Meeting!
Hi everyone, just to recap for anyone who couldn’t make it to the meeting! We discussed pro-life apologetics on rights and fairness.
Next Event: Respect Life Day at Johns Hopkins!
On Monday, October 20th , Voice for Life will be hosting a pro-life event on the Levering courtyard that has three parts:
Chalking : 9-10:30am (tentative, upon approval)
Pro-Life Cupcake Day: From 10am-2pm (or until we run out), we will be handing out free cupcakes with a pro-life message on them. We will be baking the cupcakes the day before (October 19th) in the Wolman kitchen from 9-11pm.
Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity: Give up your voice the 3,300 children who will lose theirs due to “choice” on the same day. For this, you will wear a piece of red duct tape that says “Life” and hand out flyers explaining why. For more information please click here .
Other Upcoming Events:
Thursday, October 16th from 7-9pm: UB Respect Life is hosting an Club Open Mic Night event to promote awareness for the critical issue of homelessness in Baltimore and beyond. Admission is one canned goods item to be donated to St. Vincent De Paul Society of Baltimore.
Sunday, October 19th from 9-11pm : We will be baking the cupcakes for Pro-Life Cupcake Day in the Wolman kitchen.
Saturday, November 1st (time TBA): Sidewalk Counseling and Prayerful Protest
